Night show "Castles & Legends - Dragons" with John HOWE - Dance, mapping, pyrotechnics, horse show...
At the crossroads of Germany, Switzerland and France, the Rhine castles offer you a fantastic experience as part of the "Châteaux & Légendes" festival.
This cultural event will return for a third time in 2023. Still imagined by John Howe (artistic designer of The Lord of the Rings) and Jim Danton (director), this fictional event plunges you into the universe of legends and Rhine castles with the creation of a great night show on two different castles, the Hardenburg in Germany on May 1st 2023 and the Hohlandsbourg on Friday June 2nd 2023.
This night show invites you to follow in the footsteps of the Alchemist, a strange mage from the Rhine, who seeks to protect the access to the fantasy world against the violence of men in the Middle Ages.
Directed by Big Family Event, it combines sound, light and mapping to give a spectacular dimension to the performance, where the spectator is placed at the centre of the experience.
It combines dancers, fire artists in intense combative choreography and a rider, both amateur and professional.
This programme is supported by the European Union as part of the INTERREG Upper Rhine cross-border programme.

Dates and times: Friday 2 June 2023
8:30 pm: doors open - 9:45 pm: start of the evening (arrive 30 to 15 minutes before the start of the show).
In the event of bad weather, the show will be rescheduled for Sunday 4 June 2023, at the same time (check your mailbox a few days before).
Location: courtyard of the castle - bring warm clothes and a torch
Show of about 1 hour: unnumbered seats
